Update from Last Week: Seems like everyone is struggling with weight this week. I had a bad week. My motivation is out the window. I'm especially sure that my home scale is way off because of the difference between it and the one at my meeting. Oh well. Like the little engine said, "I think I can, I think I can, I think I can."
Weigh In: Saturday, July 21, at meeting 176.4
My Weekly Motivation: Do not have any this week... need to get my act in gear.
Exercise: Decided to run a 5K mud run with obstacles in September. How do I train for obstacles?
Share the Wisdom of Others: Weigh loss is hard work. Everybody struggles with it. Not everyone is like the celebs who can just drop 20 pounds at the blink of an eye. We have jobs, kids, and life that gets in the way.
First Degree Goal: Pre-pregnancy weight of 172 pounds.
Second Degree Goal: Find an activity that I enjoy in order to add in some exercise.
Ultimate Goal: 140 pounds/feel good in my skin/fit in single digit size clothing.

Oh I hear you! Seriously, need to get my act together and get some motivation. I wish I could think of it as a happy journey instead of feeling so resigned to it. I just don't know how to correct that. Oh well, yes, you have plenty of company and I hope you're having a good week so far this week!
ReplyDeleteyay for an exercise goal! practice for obstacles by jumping. just in general, start jumping. do you have access to a rock wall? that could help.
ReplyDeletei'm doing a color 5k in september!
